So yea, for once in my life I actually successfully BAKED COOKIES! Well, assisted Tina using my 'theories' on what and how much of ingredients to use. Again, I shall post the photos in FB when I come back.

Speaking of coming back, I'M GOING TO LONDON later today!!! Will leave home at abt 4.10am to the bus stop with the girls and take the 4.40am bus to the airport. Plane would depart at 7.10am. Apparently, London is really cold! To the extent that the snow on the ground is 10cm thick! I'm waiting with anticipation.

So why am I awake at 2.30am when my bus ride is like 2 hrs away? Well, we had a Christmas party today! Yummy food, rushed laundry, heart-warming and emotional moments followed by a drinking session. By the way, we had Baileys and another sour apple-flavored spirit (forgot the name). I only drank Baileys ^^ Me likes <3

After the quiet and 'relaxing' drinking session we have our very own clubbing session in our KITCHEN!!! They were still at it when I started composing this entry but they've now come into my room and started a girl talk session >.<

Ok, time for me to sign off for now and join them. Will be back hopefully when I'm back from London =3

クリスマスです！！！

Ok, everything that I mentioned in the previous post has ended! I'm sort of 'free' now~

I did highlight sort of. Well, I'm not COMPLETELY free. I still have to study for my exams which are starting on the 11th JANUARY!!! So near, yet nothing is covered so far =S

Honestly, I'm feeling really worried for my studies. It's like I have no time to study at all! Not that it's on purpose. I have other stuff to do also =S

Ok, something to be excited about...

IT SNOWED!!!

Well, you can't see snow on the ground since the temperature is still not constant. But you can see flurries coming down from the sky every now and then ^^

How it started? On the last day of college!!! Ok, this is how it went.. Sam, May and I wanted to to go the Christmas Market after college but we were not sure whether it was open or not. We thought of just dropping by to check it out. After walking past Grafton Street, it started to rain hail!!!

Don't worry, it's not the kind of rare hail you see in Malaysia when giant deadly ice rocks come falling from the sky, ready to kill you. It's like rain drops, only in solid form. Sam and I thought they were really cute, being round and tiny ice blobs that we've never seen before UNTIL.. some it the side of our eye and O.O!! THEY REALLY HURT!!! *cries* It's a good thing we had out waterproof jackets on along with out safety eyewear, GLASSES!!! XD

So yea, back to the story.. When we crossed the bridge, the rain got worse.. So we decided to scrap the Christmas Market idea and head for warm shelter... Jimmy Chung's! We had our Chinese buffet. Ate till we were so bloated, May and Sam could not move.. For the details, check out my photos on FB.

After that, We went to Penney's for a VERY short while because I had something on later. Some happening occurred there. Sam was abt to take of her jacket, when she realised that there was NO jacket to take off!!! O.O!!

She was like OMG! Ran downstairs to when she thought she left it. Thank God she recovered it. Quite fortunate since she left at the jacket section and someone might have taken it, thinking that it was for sale.

About the something I had later, I volunteered to be one of the photographers in charge of taking photos of the Pharmacy Society Ball! Taking pictures is SOOO fun. While I was indoors taking pictures, Sam msged me saying that its

SNOWING OUTSIDE!!! >.<

And the Ball was already ending. All the pics I could take by that time were people dancing. Out of fustration (and sleepiness, I was kinda bored when not taking pics) I went back home with LOADS of pictures... I saw SOME snow but it ended by the time I got out of the taxi D=

Many things happening for these 2 weeks. Last week, my friends and I helped out with the PMC "Farewell for the class of 2012". It was THE BOMB!!! I was helping out with the deco and ushering later at the main event. It was SUPER TIRING but was SOOOOO WORTH IT! Sure, I has sores on my feet but thank God I had no blisters. It was a great experience.

All of the 'workers' were complaining at the main event because all were hungry but coudn't eat.

BUT...

By the time everything was over, we headed over to the Milin House kitchen and has a FEAST!!! We had so much food remaining we had to bring not some, buut LOADS home! Imagine a container with dimensions 30cmX22cmX8cm... Now, imagine 6 FULL containers!!! Filled with food. And that was just for a group of (7) us. The others took filled containers too! XD

OK, time to study! Last Card Signing next Friday along wif several other events too.

Tomorrow on Monday, theres this Chocolate Ball! Apparently it's one of the biggest and most happening event held in the College (apart from the PMC Farewell and RCSI Ball). UNLIMITED CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!!! I really hope I make the readers who are not going so jealous.. =P

On Friday, after CS, I'm helping out with the Christian Union Christmas Carol Service. I'm handling the lighting for the sketch and am leading praise and worship with my friends ^^

Not to mention, I have MCQ for the weekend @.@

Ah, I really hope and pray that God will help me throughout these busy times.

Hectic

Mom keeps telling me that there's so much left to be done but I still can't point them out. Ok, some of the stuff in my 'To-Do' list still has to be accomplished but that's all I can think of..

Even my friends in the UK and Ireland are already awaiting my arrival and checking on me. My parents call me Blessed bacause God has been with me EVERY step of the way. I really did feel HIS presence with me, especially for these two years!

I was bored...

Ok, here I was writing some piece of fiction. Yes, I write...

I kind of got bored and my eyes were tired so I took a break. Mom came into the room and aksed me to list down the things I have to bring and do when I'm at the Uni office tomorrow, so I listed them down...

After doing so, my hands started to move on its own...

First, I drew a flower. Then I drew another different flower. After that, I redrew flower 2 and added leaves and a stem and a sun shining down on it..

Since what I was writing was fiction, I thought maybe I should make a rough 'illustration' of my character so I started to scribble.. I don't know. when I scribble things, they look nice. But when I redraw them properly (as in no scribbling involved) they look hideous. So I scribbled my character. Many MANY rough lines and I DID NOT redraw properly, just took a pic.

Decided to enlist my aunt in Singapore's help to purchase it first since it's cheaper (no/lower tax) there. Dad would be going over on 16/9 for a fish show and come back with my aunt on 18/9. She wants to send me off ^^

I feel so satisfied today~ Why you ask? Well, for several reasons..

1. I started cleaning my room^^
Imagine, I just brought down more that 5kg of paper to be recycled. That's just from my bed and desk. There are still tonnes of paper hiding around in my room. I guess I'm just doing my major part to help save the environment.. That's 1.5 years (and maybe more) worth of recyclable junk. Still loads to go though.. There are still no changes in the appearace of my room since I only cleaned the hidden parts (ie: inside drawers, under bed). I'm taking it a step at a time. Maybe I'll start vacuuming the dusty parts tomorrow.

2. Many buried treasures found
Not really found, more of remembered. Since I do know where I put them and all.. What kind of treasures? Well, various. Story books, CDs (originals), stationery, games, etc. That's all I uncovered so far. I plan on giving my books, games and such to charity since they need them more than I do.

3. I hope to earn lots of money!!
Well, definitely less than what I spent but at least I get the money NOW, as in the PRESENT. I have tonnes of original CDs that I don't want anymore so I plan on selling them online. Yeap! I just have to work my way to get a PayPal account first. I also have loads of Japanese Mags that I have already read. I couldn't just throw them away since I paid good money for them and there are people (yes, I have my ways and sources) that are willing to buy past issues^^ I also have many A-Levels textbooks to sell~

4. My first actual cooking experience was a success!!
Believe it or not, Joanna can cook!! A girl has gotta survive on her own. I made Cabbage Rolls. Pork, mixed with various veges wrapped in cabbage and steamed. Well, I simmered. Same difference. It was so YUMMY~!!! I wanted to take a picture as proof but the family dug in too quickly. It was kind of a spontaneous thing. It was like suddenly at 5pm, I decided that I wanted to make them. Cooking is fun^^ Maybe I'll raid the cookbook for something else next time.

Ok, we (Alex, WaiKuan and I) initially though that we were actually going to Tony Roma's since KASHINI was the one that told us to meet at Cathay Cineplex and all but NOOO>>> KASHINI decided to change the venue to HRC.. I'm ok with it, but poor Alex...

So yea, we reached at 4.00 pm and finally ate our lunch at 4.30pm!
Had LOADDSSS of fun, including snapping tonnes of photos (more info: FB), chatting on what's new with our lives and about LeeMei missing all the fun!!

One of the highlights I can NEVER forget are the quotes from none other from the GREAT CHIA SY!!

Singapore

Ok, I went for my cousin's wedding but I decided to spend much longer so that I can meet up with sooome ppl. I had it all planned out..

Day 1
- Arrive at about 1.00pm and meet my aunt at Novena Square (arr location)
- Meet up with my online friend, NinoIsa. (We just decided to meet up abt 2-3 days after knowing each other and realising I'm going Sg^^)
- Decided to walk to the karaoke place
- Got lost while walking
- Resorted to taking a cab because we were to lazy to walk.
- Go craaazzzyyy at the karaoke box with our hiragana-fail!
- I love our Kiss~ Kaerimichi no Love Song collab!!!
- Head to Cathay to snap PURIKURA
- Crazy!snapping rocks~ Of course we didn't forget mirry who was the 1st one who asked us for purikura shots.
- End of day ~Thank you Isa~

Day 2
- LeeMei msged me to not eat dinner and that we're going out at 6.00pm
- Visited my aunt at her workplace for lunch
- Went home and space out while waiting for the time to get ready
- Went to meet LeeMei at Suntec *huggles*
- Ate Teppanyaki while SNAP TONNES OF PHOTOS
- Went to visit the "World's Largest Fountain" , The Fountain of Wealth.
- Didn't queue to touch the fountain because the fountain touched us later at night =P
- Took purikura with LeeMei! (first time in my life to encounter those machines speaking in ENGLISH!! =D)
- Went to TCC to have dessert
- Snapped MORE photos and sang LeeMei's bday song
- Went Home ~Love ya LeeMei~

Day 3
- Ate TRUFFLES (first time) on toast for breakfast. *melts* SO YUMMY!

Day 4
- Went to Suntec again for church
- Met my grandaunt and uncle from Jakarta for lunch
- Went home to laze around
- Cooked dinner with dad
- Dad failed on his steak because he wanted rare but made it well-done so I ate it (What a great daughter ^^)
- I made mine medium-rare for dad and grilled fish with lemon and cheese sause for my aunt (Yum! I CAN cook!)
- The cheese-grilled aubergines collab with my aunt was YUMMY~

Day 5
- Took the bus home at 11.00am with dad, grandaunt and uncle
- Reached 1U at about 4.00pm
- Reached home at about 5.00pm (Don't ask..)
- Home Sweet Home!!

Father's Day

Ok, I did NOT just call my dad 'Daddy'! So what if I did? Just for one occassion~

Mom and I and her friend from Indonesia planned to surprise dad and mom's friend's husband with a HUGE Father's Day cake^^

So yea, mom and I went out to 'buy groceries' yesterday without dad or my bro. It took some effort since my dad was like "Come, I wanna go too!!". He just didn't want to feel left out. Went to Secret Recipe to order a Tiramisu cake. When we came back, dad was like "So.. Where's my present? *inserts grin*" Who's the KID now? Haha.. JK JK

We invited my mom's friend's (from secondary school) family from Indonesia for dinner at the nearby restaurant since they liked the food the last time they came. Wanted to treat the 2 fathers and fellowship for old time's sake..

Their son, Jeremy, who is my age came along too^^ Well, he's a year ahead in studies since he expressed in an international school and he came back for summer holidays. Kashini met him before I think, with his bro during their last visit and when Kash came over for 'study session'. He's SOOO tall now. Ok, I'm sensitive when it comes to height but I can't help it >.<. I decided to wear HIGH heels to make me seem a bit taller. Blame it on my 'I hate to lose' attitude..

So we had dinner. Mom reserved a spot earlier because we kinda had an idea that it would be crowded due to Father's Day. Guess what? We were right~

We kinda used the 'Have to go reserve table' plan as an excuse for us to out to collect the cake. We didn't even make a sound when we came home. I sneaked in and ran to hide the cake in the outside fridge ^_~

So after dinner, we ALL went to my house to talk talk talk. When everybody settled down, I took the cake out and Ja Ja JAANN!!

SURPRISE!!!

We only managed to eat a quarter of the cake since we were still full from dinner ^^; While eating, the parents just kept talking and talking and... you get it. All about facebook (yes, I know!!), business and other stuff. Us kids just kept quite and observed.. Well, my bro had the computer to play with downstairs but mine was upstairs and I didn't want to be rude *sighs* Ok, I cheated a bit. I DID got up to upload the photos I took today and gave one random one I took of my bro to him so he can use as his display picture on whatever..

I kinda liked what I did though^^ Cool aite? It's not all the time we Tans get to take nice pics of ourselves (very un-photogenic)

So after loads of talking and stuff, our guests went back~

Hehe.. Ok, I was too lazy to update yesterday so I decided to do it today^^

Lets start with Sunday. Went to get a haircut. I promised myself the 10000000000000th time to NEVER get my fringe cut!! I mean, everytime someone cuts my fringe, they'll just screw it up. Last time it was too short, then it was out of shape, now its BOTH too short AND out of shape!! Not to mention that the lady 'thinned/layered' my fringe so it would look SUPER short, like about 3cm higher than my eyebrows if someone were to look at me from a distance. She didn't have mercy on my side bangs and went ahead and snipped them off. So now, not only I look like a retard, I look like a retard with a BIG and FAT face.

Mom HAD to bring me for a haircut ON PROM DAY!! *cries* So yea, I looked like a retard with a big and fat face DURING PROM!! I'm gonna be cutting my own hair by my own preferrences from now on until I decide to undergo a super makeover.

Speaking of prom, there was nothing much to speak of.. I mean, the juniors arranged it and they were not even punctual. We started like AN HOUR late! The best thing is, the host even warned us to sit down and remain silent for the start of occassion. He was like "Okay, last warning arr.." One word: LAME! Come on man, its like OUR day..

One of the eventful things that etched itself in my memory is the Hindi Dance performed by the lecturers! It was SOOOO exciting. I mean come on.. LECTURERS + HINDI DANCE (yes the one involving coconut trees)
= PURE CRACK!!! For the female lecturers, I went like O.O went the moved their hips so dangerously! As for the guys, who wouldn't just die of crack overload when they see their favorite and some forever serious male lecturers wear cool shades, hair slicked back, leather jackets and bling in the form of a shiny CD?!?! YEA!

So we had the prom king and prom king. 2 ppl got nominated from our class but sadly they did not come. We also had the best dressed award. A guy from our class got nominated but didn't win because our screams/squeals were not loud enough to beat the guys supporting another guy^^; All that, and we had the BEST COUPLE!!

One would expect a couple, consisting of a boy and a girl to nominate themselves and take up a challenge by the hosts which is a sensual dance between the couple. One did not expect (or maybe they did) a couple (actually 2) consisting of a boy and a boy to nominate themselves.

So they had to introduce themselves and say something about themselves to appeal to the audience. So yea, my name is ____ and this is my bf/gf/partner and we've been together for how long. The guys went like "Hi! I'm ___ and this is my partner ___ and we've been together for like FOREVER!!!" *inserts passionate hug* O.o;;;;

Then came the sensual dance. PURE CRACK XDDDD

Yea, they kinda like marriage proposal-ed each other and did all sort of erotic moves which was too much crack and incoherence~ So yea, they ACTUALLY were voted THE BEST couple.

There was only ONE problem.. See, the organisers got couple rings for the best couple. One for the guy and one for the girl. It was a good thing that one the guys was quite small sized and that his finger could fit the ring. So, the got the rings and put them on each other like during a wedding, only that one would kneel while putting the ring on the other. In my opinion, they should make vows. The taller guy then carried the other bridal style down the stage.. And they both live happily ever after XD

They're gonna be releasing their 5th and newest single 'Tanabata Matsuri' on 8/7 in conjunction with the summer season. I just saw the preview of the PV. This is like the 3rd PV involving kids. Well, I guess its a way to enchance their cuteness^^

Them singing and playing with the kids are just pure love! Did I mention that they're wearing yukatas? Yukatas fit Massu better because he seems more of the traditional Japanese type of guy to me. Or maybe because I spottes Tegoshi wearing a fashion ring with the yukata, which did not match *_*

They're also gonna be releasing their 1st album called 'Tegomass no Uta' on the 15/7!!! Kinda reminds me of their song 'Bokura no Uta' from the previous single. And we all thought promoting the Tegomass-ai during Koi no ABO was for nothing.

Ok, YESTERDAY marked the last day of my A-levels exam and college life. Is hould be happy aite? But somehow I was depressed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not gonna miss anyone *shot dead for heartless statement*, it was just that I kinda screwed up my last paper. I was depressed for the whole day.

I kinda sorta cheered up a bit when dad took me out to 1u to buy bus tickets to Singapore. But I kinda felt terrible. Now all I have to is to change my prayer from getting good papers to good examiners who are lenient and MERCIFUL^^

Oh well, that behind, now I have to start cleaning my room and get rid of all the unwanted stuff. When I'm done, I'm just gonna scratch it off the list on the right >,>

This post was actually for Sunday NOON. I just got lazy.. =P

Its like noon and yet I'm still so sleepy. Just came back from church and grocery shopping with mom. Why only mom? Dad is on his way back from Singapore (I wanna go >.<) and bro is at some football competition with his friends.

Yesterday was SOO tiring.. Had to wake up early in the morning (say, 8.00am?) on a SATURDAY?! Well, not that I'm complaining. Who wouldn't want to get ready to attend their friends' wedding? Yeap, two of my friends tied the knot yesterday ^^ ~CONGRATS TO KEVAN AND WINNY~ *throws confetti and balloons* Winny looks so pretty and was like smiling throughout the WHOLE ceremony. Well, who wouldn't huh? The flower girls were in their cute pink dresses, I only know one of them though.. But the ring bearer, Zen is TOO CUTE for his own good. I mean, in that mini tux and hair gelled to one side, you would just wanna pinch those chubby cheeks and hug him to death!!

Well, the whole thing went smoothly and the ceremony ended with lunch upstairs courtesy of none other than 'Big Rajah Catering^^' I wore a brown dress, yes Joanna WORE A DRESS!! A low cut one at that, with little FRILLS!! Haha, even I couldn't believe I actually wore that ^^; Maybe I'll were that again when I go to Singapore for my cousin's wedding later in July. Wow! In like the first half of this year, I actually attended to 3 and coming to 4 in July! This must be a great year for weddings!

I didn't join the others for lunch though, because I had to rush to Pyramid IN MY DRESS for my brother's birthday celebration. We were afraid that there would be no parking or places at Pizza Hut so mom had to resort to valet parking and I had to be dropped off first at the main entrance with 3 (uncontrollable) boys (let me remind you, in my dress although I changed to flats than the initial stilettos) to make our way to Pizza Hut.

After we sat down, I felt SOOO AWKWARD having so many people staring at me. I mean, come on! Don’t tell me you haven’t seen a girl in such a dress before.. My goodness! I really wanted to leave the boys at Pizza Hut and go and change into my casual wear. Then mom came, we ordered. When we just finished ordering, Aunty Lucy came with the two kids, Zhe Hao and Yoke Lin. Of course they were looking at me funny too as I left.

Of course I was already rushing to go to the washroom when Aunty Lucy asked me where I was going. Well, I also HAD to explain why I was in the dress so yea I told her the reason why and dashed off^^

After lunch, the boys went ice-skating with the mom and A. Lucy staying with them. The remaining 3 of us ‘big kids’ decided to watch a movie~ When we reached the cinema, it was SO FULL! Thank God for easy access. So we booked tickets for Monsters vs. Aliens and had abt an hour to kill. We spent the WHOLE 45 mins at NOKIA comparing 2 phones for Zhe Hao. I’ve never seen such an indecisive guy in my life! Well, I find it amusing.The comparison was too petty to write here so I’ll just leave it to the fact that he ended up buying the better (in my and everybody else’s opinion) phone.

The movie was Hilarious! Fun! Great! I don’t mind watching it again. I highly recommend this movie to everybody^_~

Well after that was pretty much the usual. Dinner, home, computer, bed. Yea that’s about it!

Muzukashii..

Wow! The papers today, ok, yesterday were so tough! I mean, Bio was ok, lots of writing as expected. I did try to answer all the questions to my knowlege. I just hope that what I write down actually DESERVES marks. I wrote so much, that my hand actually gave out during the last quarter of the exam. I had to like rest it for a minute or so to let it 'recharge'. The cramps/pain in my hand remeined when I sat for Math. Thank God that my hand did not 'die' during the exams. Even now, I'm still feeling the cramps from my hand!! Math was a gonner. It was SOOO DIFFICULT! I'm already having doubts on whether can score A for it (my only hopeful A subject) *cries* I'm done with both my Math papers, so now all I have to do is trust God that He will help me and have mercy upon me ^^

Got our college magazine today! Yes, our college still has the 'Kemilau'-like magazine system~ I LOOK HIDEOUS!! Ok, it shouldn't suprise me since 99% of all the pictures I have taken in my lifetime look hideous. I can only save the remaining 1% for my picture reputation. So, pictures from all the classes, special pages for each class, words of advice and encouragement from the lecturers (much appreciated).. Basically the standard stuff.

Today (yesterday) was exhausting! I think I overworked my brain. I've never given my brain much thinking practice so I guess it went on overload today. I mean Joanna NEVER SLEEPS on FRIDAY!!! Since Friday is like the only day that I can waste my time on the computer without a care in the world due to the weekend ahead. Believe it or not, I slept for 3hrs! Probably more if my mom did not wake me up. Ahh, time on my computer wasted on sleep! Oh well, sleep IS the 2nd best thing to the computer~

I'M ALLLIIVVVEEEE!! Yea, I just posted here after a million years (?) just to let people know that I'm actually still living and breathing^^

So yea, I'm in the midst of my final exam now. 2 killer papers tomorrow, Biology4 and Math3!! But those 2 cannot be compared to the other 2 KILLER KILER papers coming on Monday, Physics4 and Chemistry4. I mean, I did manage to get 'D' for those subjects for my trials.. So worried.

Oh well, moving away from exams, I wanna congratulate my buddy, Lee Mei upon starting her classes! Now I know where to ge when I think I'm going crazy ^^; So yea, I'll be going down to Singapore after my exams in early July for my cousin's wedding and at the same time, meet up with some buddies *hints*

Its pretty random, but I found a link to a MV on youtube today. The song is 'Heaven' by BIG BANG. Suprising for a person like me who fears entering the Korean fandom to actually listen to Korean songs!! Like I said, it was PURELY RANDOM!! Besides, I found it because I found out that BIG BANG is gonna debut in Japan and their debut song is the japanese rendition of 'Heaven' but its called 'My Heaven'. I like how the Korean version sounds like but I find the Japanese version more understandable..

Arashi is stretching their whole 10th Anniversary Concert all the way from AUGUST TO JANUARY!! Wow! That's so long! Well, it IS their 10th Anniv Con anyways. I'm sure the fans are ecstastic! I just hope the boys take care of themselves, espacially with the A(H1N1) virus on rampant in Japan. Hopefully the whole thing subsides by the time the con starts..

Just want to say, Arashi's Ashita no Kioku is such a nice song. I mean, you can really feel the emotions in this song! And the PV really potrays the whole scenario with the melancholy and all. I think the directors really did a good job in producing the PV for this single.

Life is pretty much a bore for me nowadays. I mean, all I do is wake up, bath, study, eat lunch, study again, eat dinner, bath, study again again, then sleep. The cycle repeats again the next day. Of course there is the occasional toilet break, water break, computer break, I just don't wanna do anything break but yea, like has been quite monotonous. I haven't been going out or meeting up with anybody. Well, ALL of that is gonna change AFTER my exams!! For now, I'll just have to endure the monotony.

I just formed an Arashi fancover group with another 4 girls from all over. We are called Fの嵐, meaning F no Arashi, with the 'F' meaning Fandub or Fancover. I sing as none other than Sakurai Sho! Well, mainly because I have been 'scouted' by our ~Nino~ and that my non-existent rapping skills have been recognised! Haha, *fails* HAPPY!! So yea, we started a lj comm but we havent released any covers yet because, well, we're all jus tplain BUSY with real life! I quote from our beloved 'Oh-chan' who coincidently is also the oldest like the actual, "We are all a bunch of hardworking schoolgirls~!" Lolzz yea that was cute!

Even my birth cert and IC. I mean, do I really need to get the fact that I'm born certified by some person? I thought the fact that I have a birth cert and IC mean I'm ALREADY certified as a person born in Malaysia..

Haihzz.. Story of my life.. I finally confirmed my purchase and transfer of my NEWS Winter Diamont Party Key Strap! Can't wait to get it!! Its so pretty. Apparently its already sent to my aunt's place in Singapore. All that's needed is to wait for an email from my aunt saying 'I RECEIVED IT!'. But for me to actually get my hands on it, I'll have to wait till May, when my dad goes to Singapore for a show.
